About Us
My name is Rachael Hartman. I grew up in Whitley County, Indiana, and my love for Northeast Indiana continues to keep me connected to the landscape and this community.
I started my photography career as a journalist, which was a position I had for eight years. It was doing this that gave me the insight into the tools and tricks to capture that "perfect moment."
What I love about photography is being able to tell a story through an image whether it be something that makes us laugh or cry. A photo captures a moment and makes it permanent. It's something we can look back on, but also will last long after we are gone. Being able to be a part of that experience is magical.
